Google launches blockchain node engine for Web3 developers
According to an Oct. 27 announcement, tech-giant Google is launching an in-house Blockchain Node Engine (BNE) based on Google Cloud. As a node-hosting service, BNE enables Web3 companies to relay transactions, deploy smart contracts, and read or write blockchain data directly on Google Cloud. (link)
PlayMining Web3 Entertainment Platform Launches 4th GameFi Title: Graffiti Racer
Web3 entertainment company PlayMining has announced the launch of Graffiti Racer, a new NFT game on the PlayMining gaming platform. Graffiti Racer joins a catalog of a total of four Play-to-Earn (P2E) PlayMining GameFi games that allow players to earn DEAPcoin ($DEP) tokens which can be spent on the PlayMining NFT marketplace. Game Space establishes GameFi Future Fund with an initial $10 million to support GameFi 3.0
Game Space, the first GameFi as a Service (GaaS) platform in the industry, announced the establishment of the GameFi Future Fund with a focus on the next generation of GameFi 3.0. The Foundation will be used to invest and incubate GameFi and NFT, PFP, and DID projects, aiming to help quality projects flourish in terms of infrastructure, marketing, operations, and trading. RealFevr Raises €10 Million to Build the Ultimate Web3 GameFi Sports Ecosystem
RealFevr announced that it has raised a €10 Million funding round. The round is led by global sports investor ADvantage, with participation from Semapa Next, Shilling Capital Partners, APEX Capital, and the professional football player Sérgio Oliveira. (link)
Microsoft backs game developer Wemade in web3 push
Software giant, Microsoft has made a $14.8 million investment in Wemade, a Korea-based blockchain gaming services company that has recently launched its own stablecoin, named Wemix. The company was part of a $46 million investment round, that also saw the participation of two more companies: Shinhan Asset Management and Kiwoom Securities. (link)
